Every day revolves around swimming, cycling, and running. The pursuit of peak performance, the continuous drive to improve both physically and mentally, all with one goal: to reach the top. It’s from this mindset that Autumn Wheels was born.

What started in 2019 on the drawing board with initial designs, prototypes, and tests comes to life in 2025—the moment Autumn Wheels aims to make its mark in the market. My name is Rens van Beek, founder and owner of Autumn Wheels. As a triathlete with the ambition to achieve the highest level, I discovered a second passion alongside my sport: engineering.

During countless hours on the bike, I began to think: how can small adjustments help me go just a little faster, using the same energy I put into every training session? Many factors come into play: weight, materials, bike geometry, and of course, the wheels. And then there’s the unpredictable weather—a challenge every cyclist knows well. That’s how the idea emerged: to build a wheel that performs all-around, in every scenario. Whether facing storms in the Netherlands or climbing mountain passes abroad, you should never have to wonder if a higher or lower profile, wider or narrower rim would have been better. From this idea, the RBC 60 was born.

After countless designs, prototypes, and tests, the first wheelset was created: a rim brake wheel that guarantees stability and durability in every turn and under all conditions. The RBC 60 was even tested on one of the longest descents in the world from the volcano El Teide. The rims held up under extreme heat and maximum braking force, without losing stability or agility. With UCI approval, we were able to expand into a broader segment with the introduction of the DBC 55. These wheels were also rigorously tested by high-level triathletes and cyclists, earning UCI approval as well.

What began as my personal search for the perfect wheel has grown into a product now used worldwide. You may have already seen our wheels in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, or even the United States. The mission of Autumn Wheels is clear: to help cyclists and triathletes—from amateur level to the absolute top—achieve their personal goals.

Our collection continues to evolve. With models like the AeroWave, which excels in aerodynamics, and the Disc Race Gen 1, designed to give triathletes literal wind at their backs, we continue to innovate—and we’re far from done.
